All Are Welcome in Troop 1015

Troop 1015 Boys and Girls units are scout led BSA troops based in Alameda. We are part of the Golden Gate Area Council. Our Troops welcome any scout or adult volunteer without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual identity, or disability.

Explore with us our oceans, bays and rivers. Learn to work in harmony with a multi-talented group of leaders and adults who are energized to teach our youth.

Join us to see where our adventures lead. For more information about the visiting or joining our Troop click HERE .

Scouts Earning Eagle Rank

Between the Boys and Girls units, Troop 1015 currently has 20 Life Scouts on their way to attaining Eagle Rank!

More about Eagle Rank

In 2019, Michael Proffitt became our first Eagle Scout to Earn all 137 Merit Badges! A rare feat for any Scout.

Girls in BSA Troop 1015

We started on a cold February evening in 2019 with five girls in our Unit. Since then we have doubled in size and grow more each year!

2021 Activities Accomplished

Even with COVID restrictions, 1015 keeps busy. We had 3D printing day, a trip to the rifle range, and planted trees at Camp Royaneh!
